In 2014, the group invested 1 billion yuan (approximately 140 million US dollars) and led more than 100 large enterprises in China to establish the international non-governmental organization - Yueyin Wanchuan International Charity Foundation. The CEO of the group, Gaea,served as the chairman of the foundation.
The concept of 'YueYinWanChuan' is a famous philosophical idea in China, which means that great truth and common ideals are like an eternal moon, whose light can transcend the barriers of mountains and rivers, embrace and absorb everything. The foundation always adheres to the concept of global co-construction and global sharing, and hopes to promote understanding and emotion among people of all countries through public welfare undertakings, promote in-depth cooperation and effective linkage between more enterprises through cooperation platforms, and enable enterprises to increase greater social responsibility and confidence in global investment through the development of public welfare undertakings.
The foundation adheres to the concept and mission of "Great love knows no nationality or borders", and continues to carry out global public welfare projects. Through public welfare undertakings, it increases its sense of social responsibility and contributes to the future economic development and social progress of humanity, sharing beauty and striving for a better future together.
So far, the foundation has carried out public welfare activities in more than 30 countries around the world, gathering excellent resources from home and abroad. The investment in public welfare projects has reached 700 million yuan.
In April 2019, the then President of Mongolia, Battulga, attended the Mongolian National Treasure Gobi Bear Painting Exhibition and Global Environment Protection Forum jointly hosted by the Foundation and the Mongolian Embassy in China. We invited China Animation Group to design the world's first cartoon character and doll for Gobi Bear. At the meeting, the chairman of the foundation, Gaea, signed a 30 million RMB agreement with the Mongolian government's Gobi Bear Foundation for China's first foreign aid to protect wildlife.
In May 2019, Gaea, the CEO of the foundation, led a CCTV filming team to cross 3500 kilometers of uninhabited areas in Mongolia to carry out a public welfare activity documentary on the protection of Mongolia's national treasure, the Gobi Bear. Then, donations of the same tower monitoring equipment as the Dunhuang Protected Area in China were made to the Great GOBI Protected Area in Mongolia, and a museum was proposed to be donated to Mongolia free of charge.
In January 2024, the foundation, together with the top ten African embassies in China, held the "YUE YIN WAN CHUAN" Global Poverty Reduction Program Public Welfare Dinner at the Conrad Hotel. They signed a public welfare project launch agreement with African SDAA non-governmental organizations and donated 20 million RMB as project funds, establishing good partnerships with multiple African countries.
In February 2020, during the COVID-19 epidemic,Gaea, chairman of the Foundation, established the first mask factory in Gansu Province in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and donated all of the five million masks produced to government departments and public security police, medical personnel and volunteers fighting the epidemic on the front line.
