In 2014, the group invested 1 billion yuan (approximately 140 million US dollars) and led more than 100 large enterprises in China to establish the international non-governmental organization - Yueyin Wanchuan International Charity Foundation. The CEO of the group, Gaea,served as the chairman of the foundation.
The concept of 'YueYinWanChuan' is a famous philosophical idea in China, which means that great truth and common ideals are like an eternal moon, whose light can transcend the barriers of mountains and rivers, embrace and absorb everything. The foundation always adheres to the concept of global co-construction and global sharing, and hopes to promote understanding and emotion among people of all countries through public welfare undertakings, promote in-depth cooperation and effective linkage between more enterprises through cooperation platforms, and enable enterprises to increase greater social responsibility and confidence in global investment through the development of public welfare undertakings.
“Promoting that all living things grow side by side without harming one another; the universe and the seasons rotate according to their own laws without hindering each other”，this is the answer given by Chinese philosophy and a profound interpretation of the ideal state of "coexistence and win-win, mutual benefit and reciprocity". Seeking commonalities in differences and unity in diversity is the eternal pursuit of the foundation to promote international cooperation. As of now, more than 300 large Chinese enterprises have joined the foundation and become council members, including strong group companies, listed companies, and high-quality private enterprises. The foundation organizes its governing units to visit relevant countries for inspection and investment every year, with a total of more than 200 visits. By leading Chinese entrepreneurs to conduct on-site visits to overseas projects, understanding the environment of the countries where the projects are located, assisting enterprises to take root, undertaking large-scale construction, resource development and other projects abroad, avoiding risks, solving problems, and efficiently promoting relevant enterprises to participate in international economic and trade cooperation and healthy competition.
Faced with the combined impact of the century long changes and the pandemic, in November 2020, the Foundation, together with the Mongolian government and the Tangshan Municipal People's Government, held a summit forum on "New Opportunities for China Mongolia Cooperation under the Global Pandemic Impact" in Beijing. More than a hundred representatives from central state-owned enterprises, large enterprises, and government attended.
At the invitation and arrangement of the Hebei Provincial Government, we had a discussion with the Tangshan Municipal Government on the practical cooperation between China and Mongolia in Caofeidian Port. At the same time, we utilized the high-quality and close resources of the foundation in Mongolia to work together with large domestic central enterprises and group enterprises to carry out mineral trade in Mongolia and promote the high-quality development of the entire industry chain.
The chairman of the foundation, Yangjin Zhuoma, invited the then Minister of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia as the guest of honor to attend the opening ceremony. During the event, he had discussions with the Minister of Culture and Tourism of China and the Secretary of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee, reporting on the reopening of the Mazongshan Port in Gansu and the cooperation with Mongolia through cultural and tourism initiatives.
In July 2024, the foundation promote the visit and inspection of the group's industrial park by Milan Bastinach, Minister of Energy of the Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Sinisa Berjan, Ambassador to China, to exchange and cooperate on new energy photovoltaic power plant projects.
